This page displays the list of some software presenting interesting functionalities for the use and the practice of the proposed or personal audio files, as musical contexts, or for the management of the audio files. We will preferentially retain here the softwareopen source, freeand free, the list of which may be increased over time.

Meludia's methodology is the same as that used by children to learn to speak: it is based on listening and imitation.

Audacity - Audio player and conversion

Audacityis a very powerful and very practical software for reading and handling audio files; and, as far as we are concerned, managing files in mogg format allowing a selection of tracks, an adjustment of the pitch, the tempo, the volume. You can easily mix several selected tracks (click Shift) by going to the Tracks menu, then Mix and render to a new track (Ctrl Shift M). You can then export the new track by selecting it: File menu, then Export selected audio. This new master file can then be imported into other software. Available for platformsGNU / Linux, Mac OS and Windows.

Stretch Player - Changing the speed and tone of the audio

StretchPlayeris an audio file player allowing you to change the speed of the song without changing its key. You can also transpose the piece, but by varying the pitch. Supports audio formats: OGG / Vorbis, WAV, W64, AIFF, SND, and FLAC, but not MP3 for patent reasons. Available only on GNU / Linux.
